Re: IIE: Keyboard doing "REPEAT" (FOLLOW-UP!)

FOLLOW-UP MEMO AN HOUR LATER!
=============================

This is Buggie again, an hour later!

I left the IIe running with the lid off for an hour, and guess what ----
the "REPEATS have stopped! Can anyone advise me on what happened? I
suppose that "All is well that ends well," but WHY did the keyboard do
nonstop repeats on all keys? I did not spill any liquid into it.
That is my "flagship II" with ZIP acceleration, and I am very glad it is
working again!

=====================================================================

NOTE ---- Some wonder "where is Buggie?" I am using Apple IIs every day,
just as before: Flagship IIe, IIgs, and Platinum IIc Plus. What has
happened to me in the last two years is that I have become more deeply
involved in writing college textbook supplements and in my weekly radio
show (reggae and African music). I still have about 25 bugg-power units
for sale, for either IIgs or IIe. Send me a reminder memo if you are
waiting for any long-overdue items.
	My college disconnecetd my UNIX call-in e-mail line but they gave
me a Power Mac 7100/66 for use in my college office. (For the first time
in 6 years here, I have e-mail now at the office. Steve Buggie
