Dear A2 readers,
HELP! Most of my teaching files are on my IIe, and a strange problem
started just since yesterday.
Configuration: Enganced IIe, platinum keyboard, 8 MHz ZIP chop, SCSI card
with 40 meg hard drive, mouse, two 3.5 platinum drives (Laser UDC card),
two 5.25 floppies.
Never had this problem before. The checkerboard self-test says SYSTEM
OKAY.
On all software, it seems like keys are stuck. It scrolls through menues,
and does "repeat" of all keys. If you hit an arrow key, it scrolls in the
direction specified by the arrow. It wont stop, and the computer
essentially, is now useless.
How can I troubleshoot this problem? This is URGENT ---- many important
daily files are on this Apple IIE! Thanks,
Steve Buggie
