The original is certainly on Asimov, and the bit that was trimmed includes a
note to the effect that Asimov is its "Home". Whoever removed the text was
probably a petty BBS operator who didn't like advertising another site.

Well, I can believe you didn't get the message, simply because AOL is so bad
at delivering e-mail from "the real world". I'll try the other address.

It's not the cover, but the example picture of the "Hi-Res Disk Scan", which
understandably could not be represented in ASCII.
I generally try to keep all my scans as straight ASCII as much as possible.
I'd like the documents to be just as viewable on an Apple ][ as they are on
my PC. I take this philosophy as far as I can, converting diagrams, screen
shots, etc. to plain ASCII as well as I can. (See my scan of the Fontrix
manual for some examples.) But this isn't always possible.
