Take care when opening up the PSU. Make sure it's switched off, unplugged,
and it's advisable to use an insulated handle screwdriver to short out the
large Voltage capacitors  (>50V) inside to make sure it's not going to give
you a big belt.

Go for a visual check first, especially for leaking caps or erosion of the
tracks, as you may see a problem straight away.
