You can read your AppleWorks files into Clarisworks on the Mac. AppleWorks
files aren't in text format, but Clarisworks can read and convert them
(depending on the version of AppleWorks you used; some exceptions exist). From
CW, you ought to get them out to the PC.
Crossworks is good and eliminates the need for a Mac, but you need an Apple II
machine and a cable to connect the Apple and PC.
