    What about Seven Hills' The Manager? It was a separate application
but it could be used to essentially give the IIgs very similar features, so
much so it was advertised as the MultiFinder GS. It even supported 
cooperative multitasking with certain pieces of software (yet most of
the time it worked as an elegant switcher). What I disliked was 
changing between 320 and 640 mode applications though.

    Procyon's competiting product was Switch-It! though it was more a
plain programmer switcher than a true MultiFinder.
