I don't think so, only because the filesystem determines the amount of
directory space needed based on the size of the partition - which isn't
known until you initialize the disk. I still suspect some sort of rounding
error on the slider in the case of very large drives (from a IIgs
standpoint, at least), but could only confirm it with a "normal" (read: 80M
or so) drive (if the slider didn't exhibit this behavior).
I strongly suspect "two clicks down" will work for you - I'd try that before
I tried 800 clicks up. <G>
