    On the opposite side, was there such a thing as a platinum IIc?
(excluding the IIc Plus). Years ago someone insisted they owned 
a late model (1988 vintage) Apple IIc that shipped in a platinum
colored case. Does such a thing exist? I doubt it, but curious...
