Isopropanol does NOT leave a residue.  Any residue is a result of dirt
that wasn't washed away before the solution dried.  Typically
isopropanol you buy has only two significant ingredients

1) Isopropyl alcohol,    CH3CH3CHOH
2) Water, H2O
