I done this upgrade myself a couple of weeks ago. I fitted a IIgs motherboard
into an old beige IIe case. The upgrade was quite easy to do. The only major
problem I found was fitting in the RAM card as the expansion slot is right over
to one side and interfered with the lid. I had to move the board right over
next to the PSU and even now the card is not quite straight. I think this is to
do with this particular IIe case though. Its seems to be a cheaper plastic &
design than most other IIe's.
Anyway, lack of space has forced me to put it up on ebay. There are some nice
piccys of it here....
