Thanks William, as it happens that's kinda what I did. Got 6.0.1 .sea
from Apple (thank goodness at least THAT's in a format that can be
processed on the Mac) and GShrinkit.sea later (contrary to what I
suspected this did unpack on the GS) and then I could unpack GS/OS
5.0.4. Still, it would be handy to have two ready-to-run Disk Copy
images for ROM 00 and ROM 01-and-up GS's on some central server
somewhere, complete with the appropriate Unshrinkers. As it is, many
files - including the unpackers themselves - are downloadable in .shk
format themselves, which all too often isn't very helpful (chicken and
egg, etc).

It's there all right, but you DO have to stage the mother of all
searches untill you find the right files to get up and running - and
even then, you need access to an older Mac which can produce bootable
ProDOS disks for the GS. It's enough to make you almost want to long for
plain ol' simple MS-DOS sometimes...  (sigh)
