Steve Jobs wasn't known for this side of the company, but he was far
from technically illiterate. He penned an article for Interface Age
(10/76) on hooking a SWTPC PR-40 printer to an Apple 1 - hardly a
trivial task:

So I'm curious. If he did that, what else did he do? I'm aware that
he was programming long before starting Apple; did any of that carry
over, however briefly?
