Nice, but unless it's been cleaned up and restored internally at some
point, be prepared for it not lasting very long.  All these monitors
that have survived this long (wildly exceeding their design
expectations), have already been on borrowed time.   The death of even
the lucky ones seems finally to be accelerating.

Unless you are an electronics buff, your money might have been better
invested in a more modern solution that would last a good while on its
own legs.   A simple SCART cable and a Samsung 910MP is all you need..
or if really on a tight budget, converting the IIgs to output S-Video
produces very passable results.
