IIe keyboard problems

Hello everybody.
First of all let me apologize for my English.
I recently brougth home an AppleIIe. It is a PAL model and it isn't
enhanced. I attached the IIe to a monitor and turned it on. It seems
working but there are some troubles with the keyboard.
the fact is that when I press a key (doesn't matter wich key) the
correspondent character appears continually on the screen just like I would
keep the key pressed down. I can't imagine where the problem is, maybe some
electric contact somewhere or could the problem be with the keyboard ROM?
I'm wandering if there's somebody wich already has had the same problem or
that could guess where the problem is.

Also I found a card in slot 4 that I don't recognize. There's written "STS
ELECTRONICS EPAD LC" on it and has a 40pin connector. Do you know what is
it?
