Sorry for any confusion. It was just faster/easier for me to get a catalog
listing of Harmonie's Driver sub-directory than to re-type the
information.
 
In any case, when using Harmonie, a user can elect to have the printed
image rendered internally on the IIGS, or externally using the printer's
RAM. Although it is totally transparent to the user, Harmonie uses one or
the other driver, depending on where you want the image rendered.

It'a all totally transparent to the user though. When using Harmonie to
print, you simply access Page Setup to chose options, and then hit Print,
and Harmonie does the rest.

I have no idea why the programmer took that approach. And, as a user of
Harmonie myself (to drive my LaserJet IIP Plus), I don't particularly
care. After all, it works wonderfully and that's really all I care about.
