Today, I successfully installed the latest version of Asimov (2.0) on my
Apple IIGS - to be more precise, on my G3's shared drive - and was able to
make a floppy from a .2MG file. I then launched Asimov again, because I
wanted to make another bunch of floppies out of some .sdk files... and it
returned me an error message saying "Invalid pathname syntax. Code: $0040"
I erased the whole Asimov folder, especially after I'd noticed a weird file
(odd and repeated figures and letters as a name...) had appeared in its
folder. Same thing, same alert, and same file appearing when I quit Asimov.
Could someone please tell me what went wrong ? Is there any cache or prefs
file that might be stored and corrupted somewhere in the OS ?
I'm running GS/OS v. 5.0.4 on a ROM 01 GS with 1mb of Ram. I store my GS
apps and files on my G3's hard drive, using appleshare.
Everything had worked quite fine, so far...
Cheezy.
