     This may not relate to the problem you mention but it will probably be
worthwhile to move to GS System 6.0.1. A small installation does not use
horrendously more memory that '5.0.4.

     You can find a small installation '6.0.1 in the GS WorldView archive at
http://www.apple2.org.za/gswv/a2zine/Sel/index.html . Click on the article
"Getting GS System 6.0.1" for info and download links.

     As you do more work with IIgs .2mg, .sdk, and .shk files, there is
certain to be a time when you will need to move to 4MB RAM in the Expansion
Memory Slot.
