Hello all.
I use Beaglewrite (a.k.a. MultiScribe) on my //c for word processing. I
like this program quite a bit, but the one thing that has frustrated me
about it over the years is the 10-12 page limit per file. Even though I
now have an Apple memory expansion card fully populated with 1MB
installed, it still imposes this limit, despite the fact that it
recognizes it and gives the option of loading onto it. This is nice
since it speeds everything up, but... (Though it doesn't load the
spellchecker for some reason--I have to use Copy II Plus to do that)
Appleworks has no problem using this extra memory for its desktop. Why
couldn't Beagle Bros. have done this for Beaglewrite? (I don't really
expect an answer--just complaining.)
My question: did Beagle Bros. or anyone else offer a patch of some kind
(if possible) to enable one to have larger files?
Thanks in advance!
