Re: MacShrinkit

Hiya, RosyWanker!

Duh, Rosy.. You win no prizes with THAT assertion. ;)

*> GS+ software has been openly available for free download from all sorts
 *>of places for years.

Openly? As a general rule, only vermin seeking warez venture into asimov or
other whorehouses to "get some". It's not until the Dorktor goes pimping and
reminds folks of the naughty stuff going on there, drawing the curious or the
legitimate owners who attempt to clean house.

And as one of the chief Turlettes out there, you bear responsibility for this
theft.

*>During that time, there is no indication that the copyright owner ever
*>objected in his posts to Csa2 newsgroups or anywhere else.

Uhh... Asshole. You're blaming the victim here.

In YOUR topsy-turvy world, folks would have to go around saying "Don't steal my
stuff" to everyone they meet. Simply because RosyWanker's Law states that it's
OK to steal stuff if they DON'T say it.

I don't expect you to see the stupidity of your position though, Rosy. I've come
to develop a low opinion of your intelligence. ;)

*> For Tom to believe that there would be no problem with distributing the
 *>software was completely reasonable.

Reasonable? Heh heh heh....

How do you get from "RosyWanker's Law" to Tom uttering the lie "I talked to Ross
two years ago and he released it to freeware"?

Reason and you don't even have a nodding acquaintance.

*>In fact, there was no problem until just recently.

Oh? The problem was that there were stolen goods on asimov. There still are.
That's the fact. That's the problem.

Your assertion is just another "Head up the ass" Turlette rationalization.

*> It was always understood that Ross owned the rights to the software and
*>that, should he request it, the software would be withdrawn from the free
 *>public archives.

I'll write slow so you can understand it, Rosy. It's always been understood by
law abiding folks that placing copyright material on free public archives is
illegal. But you and the rest of the Turlettes are just too stupid to understand
even THAT simple fact. ;)

*>He has now requested it and, as far as I know, the software has been removed
*>from access via the major public archives.

And no doubt, the minor public archives continue to have it and you Turlettes
continue to pass it around like the low-life scum that you are.

*>> Tell me Tom, do you lie awake nites figuring
*>> out different ways to screw up the
*>> efforts of people to legally and legitimatly support the Apple II?

*> Well, so far, all that has happened is that some software and Text
*>copies of issues are no longer easily and freely available.

Sure it's easy. You just write a check. And if having stuff freely available is
so important to you, why haven't you made all YOUR property free? Hmmmm?
Hypocrite.

*> It seems like every time your group decides to "support the Apple II"
*>another bunch of stuff turns up missing.

How so? Syndicomm has a price list at:

http://www.a2central.com/shop/gsplus.html

Could it be that you lie? But of course. You're just another stinking Turlette.

*>Why not try creating and selling something _new_?

It would happen faster if developers knew that they wouldn't get ripped off
whenever their backs were turned.

Why should they have to continue to sort through the thousands of copies of
stolen goods on asimov and mirrors to protect their stuff? Time better spent on
programming.

*>> I must admit that if this is the case you do an excellent job at it

*> Not clear why you should object to a project to solve a problem for Mac
 *>users.

A solution exists. Sure, it might cost a pittance, but until you actually con
some dope into programming a freeware version, if the problem is so tough for
these Mac users, they shouldn't whine. Right?

*snip*

 *>> I've no idea
 *> ....

 *> True.

You wouldn't know truth if it clawed it's way out of your chest and clamped it's
claws on your microscopic privates. ;)

Hoping you get a clue, Rosy
