Unless my memory is garbled, a store in Toronto once had a stack of
Spartans for sale at clearance price. It was at Activce Surplus
Annex on Queen Street, and might have been 1989 (or a few years earlier).
They were in boxes and while I can't remember the price, it seemed
like a pretty good deal at that time.
