Ah yes, Active Surplus Annex. I used to go to that store on a regular
basis and will probably be stopping in there again this Saturday.
Maybe it is just the fact that I don't go there anywhere near as often
as I used to but I just haven't found it to have as good stuff in
recent years.
I never saw the Spartans there but I have picked up the odd bit of
Apple II equipment from there. My Spartan was given to me as a
Christmas gift from one of my brothers. He even gave me a spare CPU
card that I always figured could be used to make a portable II+ but I
just never go around to trying it. :-)
Unfortunately, I never got the documentation for it and, after looking
at the pictures on the web site recently mentioned, I think I am
missing a cable or two as well to hook the video and disk drive
connectors to the Spartan so that the connectors on the back will
function. I always wondered how that was supposed to work. :-)
