Bit of useless trivia: The card will work in slots 1 through 6 on
the original IIgs motherboard (ROM 0, 01) but only capable of
shadowing 8-bit Apple II video modes. It must be in slot-3 to
shadow both emulated and native IIgs video modes.

Unless the card had a special firmware revision for the IIe I'm
unaware of, I don't believe the Second Sight was ever finished
to the point of being plug-in compatible with the Apple IIe.
I tried the Second Sight (1 MB, firmware rev. 1.4-BEEF) in my
Enhanced IIe and it was only capable of displaying 40 columns
text mode. I do recall there being a 512K version of the card,
maybe that was specifically designed for use in the IIe?
