Yes, for a long while, I was using a localtalk/ethernet bridge to
let my IIGS access my Mac network.  The IIGS (running 6.0.1) had
no problems reading any Mac hard drive at any time, even the HFS+
ones...this is because all of the network stuff is done with the
appletalk protocol.  I was using the built-in filesharing on the
Mac end.  I could have used the Appleshare file server software,
but didn't see a need.  The reason the Appleshare file server
software comes up, is that up to v3.0.? you could set it up to
allow the IIGS to boot over the network.  This went away in 
the v4.0 of the software.  But the built-in filesharing still
worked just fine, you just couldn't use it to boot the GS....
