Dang, I knew I was making a mistake posting when I was tired.  :-)

I've never used an Apple ][ So I didn't realise that it didn't display
anything and it wasn't until I read my message after posting it that I
realised I hadn't taken the case of the word Apple into account.

And to Wayne, thanks for letting me know what the IIc+ says.
