I took a look at the Lexmark web site, searching for techincal information
about the Z52, and I'm sad to say that there is no technical information
there that would point to whether it can or can't be used with an Apple
II.

However, since the site doesn't even use words like Postscript or PCL,
chances are high that it's not compatible with the Apple II. 

But, a little more technical information is required before knowing for
sure. 

That said, HP DeskJets seem to be the #1 choice of Apple II users who want
to connect a high quality inkjet printer to their system. Most, but not
all of them, work superbly with the Apple IIe or IIGS.
