Thanks for the confirmation that it DOES work Greg.

I think this is the answer here: I do NOT have a dedicated router between the
Localtalk and Ethertalk side. Instead I am running a Mac IIci that has both
plugs into it and runs Localtalk Bridge.
Is it possible that a Laserwriter will not talk across such a connection?
When I have time I am going to install a Mac CLassic on the localtalk leg and
try and print from it. This should answer that question.
If it DOES print then I am back to total confussion. I mean, it is just down
right weird that the Emulation downloads ok, and yet it errors when printing.
What is strange is that the print to the Imagewriter II works something like
this:
GS ->> LCIII (running Localtalk Bridge) ->> ethernet ->> IIci (again
Localtalk Bridge) Imagewriter II on net card
Yes, 2 bridges on 1 segment (and they said it couldn't be done!).
The above is needed because the LCIII and GS are upstairs, the IICI and
printer are in the basement, and coax connects the two nets.
It works witht he IWII but not the Laserwriter.
