Dennis - that was years ago. Besides, if you have developed a new technology, you
need to protect those who invested time, energy, creativity, and money in that
development. Please note that Apple was more than happy to sue companies that Apple
though was infringing on their investments. Franklin, for example, had a superior
machine at a lower price, (1000 & 1200 models), but the lost the suit because it
was shown that they had copied routines that did nothing, rather than developed
their own routines.

Later, Franklin and Laser had legal clones, and frankly, the Franklin 500 and 2000
series machine are better than the 1000 and 1200 series as well as the //c and //e.
