HAHAHAHA Problem Solved !!! I managed to get 640 megs of data across to an
HFS drive using Linux and Dennis' help!!! My Apple//gs is now fully
populated!! Thanks to all who put up with the non-stop questions about null
modem cables, emulators, CD-SC's, ISO-9660, burning CD's, coasters and all
the other misc. things I'm trying to forget :-))))))
In the end the Linux way was the way to go. It did cost me though.....Due to
my inexperience I wiped out my Windows 2000 Advanced Server. This took out
my web site and a whole slew of things I don't want to think about right
now.......Another week of restore & repair..... :-(
But it was worth it. The deed is done and I can now burn a HFS CD on Windos
with one of the programs I d/l'ed off the net. One last try at seeing if
that CD-SC will read it......
Thanks Dennis & everyone else for their continued help & patience,
especially when I was loosing it !
Best;
Marvin Miller
