Paul asked what was my motivation. I presume he
was asking that in regards to my statement
about wanting to see an Apple II Telecomm FAQ that
encouraged - rather than discouraged - use of
an Apple II to access the net.
 
Well, as bizarre as this might sound, this Apple
II fanatic actually uses an Apple II. For
everything, including accessing the net.
 
Doesn't anyone else see the irony of a PC user
maintaining a telecomm FAQ for the Apple II
computer and advocating use of a PC rather than
an Apple II?
 
In any case, if I have to march to a different
drummer, so be it. I will continue to use my IIGS,
even if you PC/Mac users think I'm odd, maybe even
crazy for loving and using an Apple II. 
 
And, as the publisher of a telecomm program for
the (gasp!!) IIGS, I intend to continue with
updates and new add-ons for Spectrum. And, by
gosh, I'll even use them myself.
 
I hope it's OK with you Mac/PC users that, already
today, I've used Spectrum quite a few times.
Gosh, I've even used SAM to send/receive e-mail,
SOAR to access A2Central.com, and COG to access
Delphi's A2 forum.
 
A IIGS fanatic using and supporting the IIGS?
What an odd concept.
