Well, they don't use Christmas tree bulbs to light the factory
where they make Christmas tree bulbs, either.  ;-)

As DSL and cable modem connections proliferate (and high
bandwidth _is_ the future), a larger, faster computer than
my beloved Apple IIe's and IIgs's is essential to
get around on the Web.

Woz designed the Apples to give users access to graphical
capabilities, rather than just text.  It is in the same spirit
that using a more modern computer to access the web
is an appropriate increase in user capabilities.  Kind of
like getting a color TV...

Don't get me wrong, Joe--I defend your persistence in using
your IIgs to access the Web.  I just find it unrealistic to expect
many others to do likewise--even among Apple II fanatics.
