Don't know; mine was a earlier IIe  not a Platinum.  I do have a couple
of Plat.s one even has all its key caps..

I just unbolted the blastic fromt he bottom of the IIe and bolted it to
the IIGS Upgrade bottom.  I noted that It looked exactly like the one I
replaced ony it was all in one piece as vs cracked and missing 3/4 of
the keys.
