That would explain then, why you are not using the correct newsgroup. This
newsgroup Carl, is for the Apple II, the computer that made Apple a company, and
that paid for the development and underwrote the first three years of life for
the Macintosh. You need to find a newsgroup with the word "mac" in it for the
help you are looking for.
