It's fairly normal for computer systems to act weird after a move
or after a long period of storage. Socketed chips get loose or
connections develop corrosion; same for Slot cards and connectors-- e.g.
the power supply connector.

Having the //c power supply in the truck bed would not damage
anything (except, maybe, the plastic case) due to heat. A more likely
effect would be gunk and/or corrosion on the connector.

Set aside a couple hours for opening up each Apple II, cleaning
away dust and gunk, cleaning contacts on Slot card and cable connectors,
and resocketing any chips in sockets.

Usually, scootching up an IC and pressing it back down into its
socket will reestablish good contact. IC's with pins blackened by
corrosion may need to have pins lightly sanded or cleaned with a dunk
in Tarnex. Be sure to mark the orientation of any IC you remove.

Most of the time, the above procedure will cure the kind of
problems you describe and your Apple II will work as good as new.
