Re: My //e and IIc Messed UP start



Try this test on both of them.  With the switch off, hold down both the
open and closed apple keys on each side of the spacebar.  Turn on the
power switch and release both keys.  This will put either machine into
diagnostics.  There will be a pattern displayed on the screen after a few
seconds it will either say "system ok" or display an error code that
points to the bad chip.
