     Sure there is. Hundreds of old, out-of-print titles are openly made
available for free download via sites like Asimov and 'Fairway. They are there
because ...

o- The owner of the out-of-print title has not objected.

o- The owner of the out-of-print title is likely to benefit.

o- Users benefit.


     Unless there is something weird about Mattel, the odds are that Mattel
will not object.
