I understand this, but other than the few who actually paid the
original shareware fee before I made it freeware, I have only heard
from a handfull of the 100-150+ users who downloaded it from various
sources. I can't gauge the success of my efforts on less than a dozen.

No, I understand that RPG is not everyone's cup of tea. But I want to
reach those who did download it because they like this sort of game. I
want to gauge user opinion since the ultimate feedback-paid shareware
fees-does not work.

Very true, but unlike retailers, my stuff is free, so I need feedback
to continue further updates.
