Well, a majority of the Apple II users I deal with (actual physical
contact, not internet based people) use Macs in addition to or now
as a replacement for their Apple II.  Personally, I don't care for
the pain that is Windows that is required to make the most out of
the average Wintel machine.  And I don't care for unix.  That leaves
the Mac which I don't have any problems with.  Everything I've needed
to add I've been able to add, and there's other stuff out there that
I'd like to add but can't afford yet.

Now I, as most of the aforementioned Apple II users I know, have never
really gotten into delving into the Apple II.  Most of us were the type
where you put in the disk and started the program.  I get the exact same
experience on the Mac but I find it more user friendly.

PS.  Personally, I'd never buy an iMac or Cube to replace my current
PM7500, but I know of a lot of people who have been perfectly happy
with an iMac.  They don't need anything more.
