We have a Win95/98 LAN.
I have an AppleTalk LAN (two IIGSs, one //e with workstation card, a Duo
230, Performa 630 (with ethernet card), Laserwriter II (TN?), Imagewriter
LQ with AppleTalk/Buffer card. I also have another //e, a ///, two //c(s),
a //c+ and several Imagewriters (I&II).
I also have several other PCs (PC, XT, PCjr, AT, several 486 boxes, one
with DR-DOS 6, one with NovellDOS 7, another with Linux)
Finally, we have a 5 port hub and DSL.
What I'm wanting to do is add at least one hub, use a Linux box as a
portal to the hub with DSL, and somehow interconnect the IIs, Macs, and
collector's PCs to each other and that Linux box, all without messing up
the four Wintel/Linux (the kids [ages 23-18] all have Win95 and Linux on
their machines) boxes that are in regular use by my wife, children, and
myself.
Sounds like fun huh?
To make it really interesting, I'd love to add my TRS-80 Model 3, my
Kaypro 2X, and my TI 99/4a (with PE box), but I think that would be
pushing it.
