It isn't the pinouts that are the problem Tony. Some of the latter Mac
Plus mice have different electronics in the mouse, and won't work with a
//c or a //e's mouse card. I have disassembled MacPlus mice to see why,
and all I can tell you is the cards and parts inside are different (if I
remember correctly, the latter mice have a chip that consolidated some of
the electronics parts of the older mice.) Mice from the 128 and 512 will
work, some of the beige Mac Plus mice will work, so far I haven't gotten
one platinum Mac Plus mouse to work with a //c or //e.
