Adventures with my Corvus Omninet network

Well, I now have my Apple II+ and Apple ][e both as clients on my Omninet
network.  Nothing needed to make connections but an insulation stripper and
a soldering iron.

Unfortunately, I don't have the Corvus Constellation network software, so
both machines simply boot to s6,d1,v1 of the Corvus 20MB drive.

The drive is divided into two 10MB logical drives, each of which contains 63
DOS volumes.

The supplied utilities allow only text files to be copied between Corvus
volumes.  Fortunately, my Wildcard2 and its utility disk allows copies
between volumes on the hard drive.

At 1 Mbps network rates, the computers seem to boot to the Corvus drive only
a little faster than a floppy.  It *is*, however, very strange and
gratifying (to me, anyway) to watch the Apple II+ boot to a catalog listing
in a rather ghastly silence.
