Yes. If it's a ProDOS program, you can just double-click it and it will
run just like it would on an old A2.
If the program you're running is a DOS 3.3 program, you can create a disk
image of it and use a program called DOS 3.3 Launcher to run it.

Yes. I have heard of many people being successful with Zip drives on their
IIgs's.
