Michael, you could format HD 5.25 as DD 5.25 sometimes in IBM machines - it
wasn't supposed to work, but it sometimes did, just like, sometimes, you
could format DD 5.25s as HD 5.25s. However, doing either is an invitation
to disaster. And don't count on another machine reading those disks, or
even your machine always reading those disks. Besides, if you check Walmart
you might still find the DD 3.5 disks.
