The only manual I've ever been able to find that was specific to the III+ isentitled:


Apple /// Plus - Addendum to the Standard Device Drivers Manual

Never found anything that discussed, e.g. the interface switch on the leftside or other hardware differences.

Which external 5-1/4" floppy drives work with the Apple III Plus?  It
has a DB25 connector for the external I/O drive.

To the best of my knowledge, only Apple III diskette drives will work with theIII. There are some differences related to drive select.
