Deal? The platinum was the last version of the IIe. The IIc+ was also
platinum, as was the IIGS.

For a IIe? The duodisk (I've never seen one in platinum) If you can find
the high contrast b&w (usually sold with the IIc+) you'd have a fine mono
monitor, otherwise the Apple Color Composite is a good choice. There was
a platinum version sold with the IIc+. Also, as you have money and
opportunity an AE RAMWorks III so you have a meg of extended RAM, a SCSI
card with harddrive or Focus drive, at least one super serial card and a
workstation card would be nice. Of course, an ImageWriter II printer
would go nicely with the machine.
