I've checked out this trm pwr mod and doesn't look to good, a simple
continuity test shows that one side of the mod goed to ground (shorts
to the sheilding case in a //GS) and the other end shorts to the 5V
rail on the //GS bus, where the cards plug in.

Now I'm not a rocket scientist (computer scientist actaully) but you
dont short ground and positive supply rails, at least not if you dont
want to fry tracks on the //GS motherboard?

Who knows???

Does anyone know how to modify a drive (that currently does *not*
supply trm pwr) to supply trm pwr?

is it pin 38, about where the arrow is pointing?

Also, is the trm pwr supposed to go to pin 25 of the apple scsi card?
(if so thats strange becuase pin 25 goes to ground, shorting the
computer power supply.)

Why didn't apple just stick to standards, what a pack of wankers!!!!
