Let's get this straight:

When I took the "PRODOS" file from a GS system disk I used to get the START.GS.OS error, but then
I messed around with some files and now I get the "UNABLE TO LOAD PRODOS" error. My disk drive
shows no indication of failure and I cleaned it yesterday, so that is not the problem.

I try to minimize problems by using a ProDOS partition I made when I formatted my hard drive.

In the past, I used to get "Check Startup Device" errors. Could that have something to do with
it?

BTW, many of the links to disk images in the FAQ are broken. How can I get them?
