RE: Renewed PEACE and HARMONY to the **Apple II** Community
Hiya Larva,
*>Ok, now, I have read EVERY single one of these debates,
Sure...

Tisk, you missed all the nuance and intellectual banter.
You certainly missed the plot. I'd invite you to read them again, but the strain
of doing it the first time has apparently caused you some harm. ;)
*>And, Ok, now, I have read ONE of Quantum_Cat's "squealings" before I
*>had him filtered out. Yet, he still robbs me of bandwidth!
That would be "robs"... And in this day of streaming files and mp3's, the
bandwidth argument has lost a lot of steam.
*>I have three orders of business to help this community.
Hmmm... Must be a Turlette... Got another one of those numbered lists of points
to post.... ;)
*>1. Rid the newsgroup of all things Quantum_Cat. Now, taking the
*>time to look closely at the header fields of a message of his, one

*>abuse@cotse.com. For those who care, these might be of import.
Better men than you have tried and failed Gunga Din. Try reading their AUP's
before sending them mail. Of course, you can try, but they'll probably end up
blocking any mail from you or your ISP.
*>2. I really wish to conserve CSA2 for discussion regarding the
*>assistance if its members or conversation about the vintage Apple II
*>computer. Please, I realize this is a strong controversy over
*>copyright issues. But that's all that it is. A strong dispute over
*>copyright issues. It does not belong in this group. It confuses
*>newbies and is way off topic. Now, I want you to keep this
*>discussion up; But elsewhere! (comp.sys.apple2.usergroups needs a
*>little traffic!)
You'll have to show me your Topic Cop badge before I heed your suggestion. I
feel that it IS an important topic.
I suggest you ignore or filter those topics that don't interest you rather than
trying to dictate what gets discussed here. ;)
*>3. Let's resurrect Asimov. Since I have never had very much access,
I loved Isaac. Much as I'd like to see him alive again, I think that is still
beyond us.. Oh.. Heh. You mean that old dead pirate ftp site. ;)
*>I need your help. In my spare time, I am downloading all parts of
*>Apple II ftp sites I can. My main objective is to upload what I
Say... You're not going to claim all this effort is to save worthless software,
are you? We keep hearing about how this software has no value, but folks spend a
great deal of time and effort getting their "fix"..
*>have into a consolidated, clean site at xoom.com, which claims to

I hate to rain on your parade (well, not really), but have you read XOOM's Terms
of Service? I suggest you do.
*>help to manage it. I especially need any part of asimov available,
*>and a description of its dir structure. Somebody has to do this!
Perhaps you should take your pirate chitchat to another more private forum?
Conspiring to steal stuff on a public newsgroup like this isn't the smartest
thing in the world to do... ;)

What IS it with thieves today? Have they gotten dumber?
