The diagram in the manual is the pinout for the *receptacle" not the plug,
so the pin assignments are reversed. Thus, plug sockets 2 & 3 mate with
receptacle pins 5 & 6. Plug 4,5,6 go to receptacle 2,3,4. 1&7 are the
same, (no connection). You get the idea (numbering convention is clockwise).
