Five or six years ago I bought some things off of comp.sys.apple2.marketplace:

 - a copy of Akalabeth, for $15
 - a lot of 100 original games, many with manuals, for $120 that included
   some rare items (e.g. a full copy of Muse's Robot War)

If you've been watching eBay closely, you'll note that prices for
certain select pieces of software have moved up considerably.  eBay makes
it easier to find these things, but also makes them more expensive.  Sort
of a mixed blessing in my mind.
