That would not be a good idea!  The start should of course be in a
presumed inter-sector gap.

Why?  Even a track containing one single very long sector will have
an inter-sector gap, between the beginning and the end of the sector.
Locate that, and start the .nib file track there.  Of coruse to be
sure you're successful, a manual examination of the track, to
determine where that single sector starts, may be necessary.
